SUMMARY:MSEF Networking and Training Day - Acton
DESCRIPTION:MSEF is collaborating with teachers across the state to provide professional development for middle and high school teachers. \nPRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED \nHigh School Focus \nActon-Boxborough Schools \nHost: Brian Dempsey \n9 a.m. – 2 p.m.\, lunch provided \nLearn from Brian Dempsey on how they’ve created a “Research Ecosystem” at Acton-Boxbrough Regional High School. Ideas for long term\, sustainable growth of research opportunities will be shared\, including a summer science research program\, an after school research club\, in-school research electives\, and ideas for getting other teachers and administrators to “buy-in” to science and engineering research at your school. \nMSEF will provide information about navigating paperwork and how to support students working across a range of project topics. \nThese programs are free of charge to teachers.  \nThese programs are designed for classroom teachers and school leaders.  \nSpace is limited.
